About
My name is Mariah, and I live in Burien WA, just south of Seattle. I began my journey into birth work in 2016 and haven't looked back since. After beginning my journey as a birth doula, becoming a postpartum doula and teaching prenatal yoga, I've decided to make this my full time work.
Why the name? We live in the PNW where there are mountains, meadows, streams, the ocean, trees and so much more. Mountains and Meadows is to show the ups and downs of parenting. While you were pregnant you experienced this, while you labored each surge or contraction came and left like a mountain peak, and now, in your postpartum time you are still feeling the effects of this mountainous journey. I am here to help hold your hand and help guide you in both the prenatal, as well as, the postpartum time.
Qualifications:

I live with my husband Silas and my cat Peter. I like to garden, drink wine, bake, be active, organize, and go for walks. I can't wait to meet you, and until then, good job, have a snack, and drink some tea :)
